The Sussex Handmade Soap Company

The Sussex Handmade Soap Company was formed in 2019 in Hastings, East Sussex.

​

The soaps are made using a traditional cold process method, which combined with modern values gives a natural, safe and cruelty free soap, with absolutely no parabens or sls.

 

The soaps are either vegetarian or vegan and do not contain any palm oil in any of the recipes.  The packaging is all recyclable or biodegradable without the use of plastic.​

​

All the soap bars contain natural carrier oils and butters such as olive oil, sweet almond oil, cocoa butter and shea butter, due to this they are incredibly kind and gentle on the skin.  Most of the soaps contain beneficial essential oils, but for extra sensitive skin, there are unfragranced soap bars.

​

​The Sussex Handmade Soap Company use a collection of its own botanical ingredients. These extra ingredients add both attractiveness to the finished bars and are beneficial to the skin. Many of these ingredients are home grown, for example, the calendula soap contains petals from flowers that have been grown from seed, and the lavender and honey soap bars contain lavender flowers from their own bushes. Honey is collected direct from the beekeeper.

 

The Sussex Handmade Soap Company are a small, local business who hand produce all their items in small batches with a lot of love and care.
